I'm the daughter of an art teacher, a carpenter and the granddaughter of three artists. My childhood was a swirl of sawdust, clay, paint and hot glue. And then a 1989 VHS camcorder was thrown into the mix and I was empowered to create sets and faux commercials, with my favorite part being the silly storylines and their key props and costumes. This spark to create still burns strong. For 13 years, I worked as an art director for brands both big and small in New York and Los Angeles. This conceptual and design experience now carries over into my most recent passion as a prop stylist. I think objects have stories to tell and I have endless patience for "joojzing" them until they're just right (that's the technical term).
My current focus is styling for still photography, specifically cosmetics, food, beverage, product, botanicals, and soft styling,
Here is my work from my past life as an agency art director.
I currently live in sunny Los Angeles with my husband John, our daughters Luella and Frances, and our deaf Boston Terrier, Herman. I’m always looking to make stuff, collaborate, catch up, assist & be assisted. I truly love what I do.
